Projekt German Auto Grüppe

After creating previous designs for Projekt German, the guy you could call the club president approached me to create a new design. He understands the problems that sometimes come with design-by-committee situations and decided to give me ability to design it how I wanted, and his was the only signoff needed before having them printed.

I decided to go for a WWII propaganda theme. I chose a Russian inspired typeface because I thought too much connection to WWII Germany would give the wrong impression of the positive nature of the club. I went Russian because I thought it would create no confusion as “German” is still in the name of the club, and there are no real Russian vehicle manufacturers.
