Maneki Neko

It means beckoning cat. They&rsqho;re often used in homes and places of business for good luck. Wikipedia has a nice description of it’s meaning and history of use.

I’ve had this drawing for between 5 and 10 years and have never done anything with it. It originally was just a sketch to use only as a concept to give to a tattoo artist. Since I still haven't gotten the tattoo, I figured it was time to move past concept into full illustration.
