Artec Snowboards

This is one of several designs I submitted to Artec Snowboards for their Winter 2008 design competition. I try not to enter too many design competitions, but I do on occassion as long as I follow a few guidelines. Plus, Artec has a staff of designers that work with snowboards to create a line of new boards every season, so they weren't just out looking for free design work. I thought it was fun.

I wanted a woodgrain because I was inspired by Arbor Snowboards. I wish I had the cash I could justify spending on an activity I do a handful of times a year, because I would definitely acquire their Element board in 152cm.
